Why did you become a physiotherapist?

Growing up playing and loving sports, I was captivated by the human body's incredible potential for movement and feats of athleticism. I was also fascinated by how so many athletes I looked up to as a kid were able to overcome pain and injury and return to peak performance, and I wanted to learn more about the resilience of the human body. As such, I was drawn to physiotherapy as an avenue of being able to understand these things, and to be able to empower and help others through my understanding too.

What do you love about being a physiotherapist?

I love being able to connect with people everyday and to be able to share my knowledge about things that I am passionate about for the benefit of others. I love being able to help people understand more about themselves, and discover how resilient they can be in the face of pain and injury. I love being able to help other people feel better not only with just my hands, but also through my words and the insight I can share.
