From my youth I understood that being physically active is important for maintaining health across the lifespan. I was also heavily invested in improving myself physically at the gym, socially with friends and family, emotionally with myself and those around me, and mentally at school and university. I realised that our physical health heavily impacts our social, emotional and mental states. With this in mind, I decided to begin studying Physiotherapy with the intention to bring this knowledge to others. To help others live their best possible lives.
There are many things that I enjoy, such as the mental challenge of solving my client's problem, identifying what exactly has gone wrong, and how I can fix it through treatment and rehab. The complexity of the human body's anatomy, physiology and movement is just awe-inspiring. I love educating my clients, and giving them a greater understanding of how their body works gives me great joy. Both of my parents were teachers so I probably get some of that from them. My special interests are in: Neurological rehabilitation e.g Stroke, Alzheimer's Long term care for clients with disabilities e.g. NDIS Back pain (lower/middle/upper)
