Why did you become a Physio?
Back in high school, I loved playing sports, learning about the human body, and figuring out how things worked. I always knew I wanted to help people from a young age, and becoming a Physio was a great way to do just that! But things started to click when I got introduced to CrossFit. Long story short, I had plenty of injuries, and it led me on this journey to figure out how to heal my own body and now how to help others do the same.
What do you love about being a Physio?
I love seeing and experiencing the vast changes in people's lives when I'm able to help them overcome long-standing health issues that they've had for months, years or even decades. It's making a positive impact on people's lives that keeps me going and striving to learn more in this field. I love helping the active 45–55-year-old mum or dad who just wants to stay fit and healthy until they're 80! My special interests are in: CrossFit, powerlifting and gym-related injuries; chronic lower back pain conditions; and athletic shoulder pain conditions.
