Hey!
My name is Andrew Gaitero and I am excited to join the Activ Therapy family at Prestons and Macquarie Fields!
I found my passion to be a Physiotherapist when I volunteered at a private practice and got to see people from all walks of life. I knew that my ‘why’ was to help everyday people understand and take control of their own health and to help them achieve their individual goals.
My interests lie in the sports of basketball and football (soccer) and only recently I have started doing CrossFit. During my journey in sports, I have built a strong philosophy of movement and recognised how vital proper movement is in injury prevention, safe rehabilitation and longevity in sports, work-life and daily activities.
Throughout my daily and sporting endeavours I know the fears and frustrations that come with being injured and forced to sit on the sidelines. Through my experiences, I know that I am able to provide the best evidence-based practice to ultimately create a safe and effective recovery for you.
If you are looking to improve your ability to get out of pain, move more efficiently and be able to empower yourself to take control of your health, then I look forward to speaking with you to create a plan of attack moving forward!
