Growing up, I always enjoyed playing and watching sports, so naturally, I decided to pursue a Sports and Exercise degree. My interest in becoming a physiotherapist peaked during my undergraduate degree where I found myself particularly interested in injuries and the rehabilitation process. So, I decided that I wanted to become a physiotherapist to understand how and why certain injuries occur, and explore the different ways they can be treated and managed.
Being a physiotherapist gives me the opportunity to constantly learn about different injuries and conditions, and how to effectively treat them. I find it really rewarding, knowing that I am able to help and support people reach their physical health goals that have positive impacts on their lives.
