My name is Mina Tadros and my Physiotherapy journey began in my teenage years which
formed my perspective on physical activity, human movement and disease from disordered
I really enjoyed physical activity in all its forms, whether it be athletics, bicycling, martial arts or
just going to the gym. I had seen many people around me suffer from physical ailments and this
is something I strived to avoid.
But little did I understand that you can have too much of a good thing. I started to develop
symptoms in my knees, hips and back which signalled to me that something wasn’t right.
My clinical training was comprehensive and I gathered experience from a wide range of mentors
in various hospitals and private practice clinics around Sydney. Because of my own injury
history, I intently focused on learning about the causes of movement dysfunction and why
people eventually end up with painful or restricted movement.
Using what I learned from my mentors, I began to apply these principles to myself and saw
some great results, and eventually my symptoms in my knees, hips and back disappeared for
I have also worked with University Football and AFL teams to treat athletes with on-field sports
injuries and help them perform at their best using a combination of sports massage, sports
taping and exercise.
I hope that my own injury history and clinical perspective can be of use to you in overcoming
