Andy Huynh
Physiotherapist
Prestons
Hi!
My name is Andy and I joined the Activ Therapy Team in 2022 at our Prestons Clinic.
I have always been passionate about helping people achieve their goals, and this combined with my passion for sports drove me to become a Physiotherapist.
I have volunteered and worked in a variety of settings including being a sports trainer for GWS Giants AFLW, Australian Defence Force Netball as well as Hills Rugby Club. These experiences, along with my hospital placements in the course, exposed me to a broad range of patients from all different specialties and circumstances.
This ultimately led me tor realise the value and importance with my patients in order to achieve health goals that are meaningful to them.
My philosophy when it comes to treating patients is to not only provide them with a temporary fix for their condition, but especially to implement long-term strategies and empower them to be confident in managing their condition and prevent future injuries.
Outside of work, I am an avid rock climber who loves to go to climbing gyms during my days off. I also enjoy playing basketball as I have played competitively during high school and enjoy working out at the gym. I am also a very big Formula 1 fan.
My qualifications include:
